Diet: A variety of smaller animals, like medium-large birds, reptiles, medium sized mammals, and large insects. If hunting with a pack, though, they can take down much larger prey, up to things the size of large Raptavus or small elephant sized things.

Language(s): Scoravain

Appearance: ~5 feet tall, ~6.5 - 7 feet long, bipedal, horizontal standing raptoids. They are dark green with black splotches, making them blend in well with their surroundings. The males have a row of feathers on top of their head, running down the back of their neck. They do not have the trademark big claw of Earth raptors, but instead have a extra hollow claw a third the way up their leg on the inside of their leg, a thumb claw, and extra long teeth that stick out of their mouths. They do not feel warmth in the air, (i.e. They couldn't tell you if it was 100 degrees or 60 degrees outside, but could tell you if it was warm or cold, as if they aren't cold, it must be hot or they would be cold.). Their eyes are generally green or dark blue, but recently showing mutations have given some purple or even red eyes, making them all black. Also, some have mutated in a way which makes their muscles grow faster and more, making them even stronger. They sound somewhat like generic Jurassic Park raptors, but with a much wider variety or noises used, as in chirps, growls, whines, ect.

Personality: He is ruthless, even by Scoravain standards, and it more equipped to kill than any other creature he can come across in the forest.
Equipment/weaponry: N/A
Notes: He is a mutant, as normal Scoravain are green and black, he is all black with dark grey splotches, and purple glowing eyes. He is also large for his species, by around a 1' in height and 1' 6" in length. He is also considerably stronger, and his skin and scales are up to 3x thicker and tougher than a normal Scoravain. Of course, he is also faster, even with all of the extra weight and size.

Language(s): Raptavian, (can understand Standard Galactic, but cannot normally speak it)
Appearance: Varies greatly. Can be bipedal or quadrupedal. Length varies by sub-type anywhere from 10 feet upwards of 60 feet, though the larger sizes are rare and usually have shorter lifespans. Overall body shape is usually saurian, draconic or rarely, psudo-feline; more often it's a mixture. They are naturally born a gray or pale bronze color, with a metallic sheen, though many paint themselves with bright markings depending on their job or personal preference. Not all, but a large number possess aircraft-like wings.
Technological Level: Space age, only because of the Raptavi.
Intelligence Level: A bit lower than most Humans and Raptavi
Abilities/Strengths: Speed, natural resistance to damage, immense strength due to mechanical augments, power of flight for most

Drawbacks/weaknesses: Cannot speak human languages, heavy reliance on the Raptavi for support
Notes: All Dracavion are techno-organic, and have a symbiotic relationship to the Raptavi, who provide vital mechanical care. In exchange, the Dracavion provide assistance with heavy manual labor, transportation and logistics. Dracavion are hatched from large blue-gray eggs, and are born completely organic. A few hours after birth, they are taken to a Biomech Lab by a Raptavi technician and subjected to their first implants, which become vital to their survival later on. As they grow, implants are added or modified to fit their future roll, which is determined before birth by genetic modification. Generally, the older they get, the more augments and implants they receive, to the point that they eventually become more machine than organic. Some very old Dracs have up to eighty percent of their organic body replaced by the time they die.

Personality: Fairly level-headed and accepting of others opinions and beliefs. Persuasive, dignified and self-assured, but impatient when irritated.
Primary job: Ambassador/Translator
Equipment/weaponry: In a pocket of her protective vest, she keeps a small plasma-edged switchblade for self defense.
Notes: Juun is an ambassador assigned to assist in the Humans' extra-Sol colonization efforts.

Personality: Solid, dependable, and trustworthy to the end. Not easily angered or disturbed. Takes his orders very seriously and follows them to the letter, but isn't comfortable with improvising. If things don't go to plan and his orders become nullified, he can easily become confused and lost.
Primary job: Shuttlecraft and Dracavion mechanic
Equipment/weaponry: Various small tools kept in his vest and belt. No weapons.

Porting a character over from the other RPG site. Seekers are not my own creation, but I'm using them with the blessing of the one that did make them. As such I probably couldn't transfer this info into your default template system. Pie, that is all.


Species
Name: Seekers.
Description: They are slender, hunched humanoid machines. Their heads are mounted on medium length necks, and are in an upside down T shape. Both the "stalks" and the central "tower" are slightly curved back. They have a large singular eye mounted where the "stalks" of the head meet at the center. Small eyes, which are usually dormant but can be activated, are spread out along the stalks and the central tower. Individual appearance differs greatly at times, as Seekers try to individualize themselves by painting themselves different colors, adhering various objects to their metal bodies, and so forth. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is a very good example of a "base" Seeker, without any personal additions or modifications to its frame.
Diet: As machines, they do not need to eat.
Armament: Somewhat durable metal bodies, allowing them to take as much punishment as an armored human. Weapons differ between units, but Hack-Staffs and wrist blades are common choices. Also usually possess an energy suppression device for stealth purposes. Many possess multi-purpose tools.
Natural Abilities: Most forms are lean and agile by nature, and most are very intelligent, with an inherent knack for mechanics. They are incredibly skilled combatants by default, unless their purpose requires modified skills. All Seekers have integrated themselves with special devices that allow the manipulation of energy: what organics call "magic".
History: Very little is known about the Seekers. They are an incredibly old society, so old that no living races can recall who created them. Although not openly hostile, their usually destructive habits tend to cause hatred and fear from those that encounter them.

"Species": Seeker

Unique Traits: Ecliptor possesses much utility in his clawed hands, where the tips of the claws can split apart and reveal many miniature appendages branching off from small metal rods, which can form many kinds of tools. One may call this the ultimate Swiss army knife. In addition, his frame has been modified so that he can achieve magnetic grips in his hands and feet, allowing him to scale metal surfaces with ease. Another installation was a short range jetpack of sorts. It rises up from his back and uses his standard kinetic pulse energy as a source of forward propulsion. While it is most effective maneuvering in space without a ship, the jetpack can be used to assist Ecliptor in jumping higher and farther while on a planet along with dashing across small distances.


Tech

"Liquid Bowie" (Depicted in the picture): An advanced heavy, semi-automatic pistol. The side-fed clip has the ammo capacity of a small assault rifle. The recoil of each shot activates a mechanism that pulls the clip through the gun, loading a bullet in the chamber, until the depleted clip is ejected on the other side. Each individual round is caseless, meaning the gun can fire all of its ammunition without the possibility of doublefeeding. In addition to a regular laser sight, the special sensor on the side of the gun scans what it is aimed at, analyzing the molecular makeup of the target and pinpointing areas of notable wear and tear in order to mark structural weaknesses.

Ecliptor constantly corrects his aim when using firearms, calculating trajectories and compensating for factors such as wind and gravity. His artificial vision can outmatch even the keenest of organic vision, meaning that if he wanted to, Ecliptor could snipe targets well out of normal range of his gun. His secondary means of attack are very sharp blades that can be deployed from his arms, allowing for speedy melee assaults. These blades along with a Seeker's passive stealth systems mean sneak attacks are almost always fatal.

Ecliptor manifests his exo-fundamental force (Read: Magic) in the form of kinetic pulse blasts, projections of energy that impart enormous amounts of joules.

Homeworld: Unknown

Bio: A Seeker is a light weight robot adept at sneaking and indirect combat. Ecliptor makes use of this innate stealth very infrequently. Ecliptor is a speedy combatant that fights head on most of the time in a seemingly suicidal manner. His boldness hides a hidden guile however. A strategic thinker, Ecliptor will face down unfavorable odds and surmount them with his tactics for the sake of pursuing his objectives.

Name: Triton Button
Species: 100% Human-o-man
Gender: Manly man
Faction alignment: Interplanetary Exploration Agency
Appearance: Normally in comfortable cloth-like clothing when ship-side, plain save a few designs and insignias.

When deployed, however, Triton is in a black rubbery onsie that brings to mind the appearance of scuba gear. The difference is being all of the hard  black and yellow plating that covers his arms, legs and torso and the helmet that sits atop his head. A belt with all kinds of tactical utilities wraps around his waist. Equipment pouches are carried on his chest and thighs.  

His helmet, like the rest of the plating, is made of a hard plastic composite, making for light and fairly durable armor. It has a large rounded visor that allows the wearer to have a wide field of view, in addition to displaying an overlay of information forwarded to ground units from the main ship.

This data includes environmental data and suit-internals such as oxygen supply and the likes.

Personality: A perpetual improvisor, always flying by the seat of his pants. At his best tackling problems as they arise. This is why he's a forward unit for his exploration party: he's the most likely to survive hostile preliminary conditions and allow the rest of the crew to carry out the mission.

Equipment/weaponry: A standard all terrain jet-assisted quad-bike. It is essentially a motorcycle with four miniature engine nacelles that gimbal in all rotational directions aside from up -- as that would send the bike into the ground -- allowing these things to move fast in all kinds of ways that extreme sports buffs are envious of.

In terms of weaponry, Triton carries with him a standard issue carbine. Black and silver casing, railing along the top and a long magazine sticking out the bottom.
